This is NOT just a Part D drug plan. They hope you will take the BAIT and SWITCH to one of their MEDICARE ADVANTAGE plans that include dental, vision and drug coverage.
If you WANT to GIVE UP your original Medicare and supplement plan
for a Medicare Advantage plan, that is certainly your prerogative. As you know I don't write ANY Advantage plans (and never will), but I realize some folks may be willing to trade the right to keep their current doctors and are willing to put up with pre-authorization treatment delays and possible denials of service in exchange for a plan that may not have a premium.
If you feel an Advantage plan is more to your liking, let me know and I will refer you to my
Advantage plan expert who can help.
But if you are satisfied with the plans you have now, don't take the BAIT.
However, if you believe you have been SWITCHED, and do not want to give up your Medigap plan and SilverScript DRUG plan, let me know. I can get you out of
the Aetna Advantage plan by re-enrolling you in the SilverScript policy. This MUST be done before 12/7 if you want OUT of the Aetna Advantage plan.
