You have less than 3 weeks to change drug plans for 2019. Premiums and copay's are higher. The drug store you use this year may not be in network next year. Failure to change plans may be costly.
Last week I talked to 2 people whose drug plans will renew with premiums over $100 per month. Neither use pricey drugs. In fact,
the medication is normally less than $5. Based on a review they will each
pay $14.50 per month for Part D and have the same or lower copay.
Every year I try to review drug plans for all my Medigap clients. If your plan has not been evaluated this is what I will
need.
*Exact name and dosage for each drug
*How often filled and quantity
*Name of current drug plan carrier and premium
The remaining weeks are a very busy time and I will do my best to review 2019 plans on a first come
basis.
